Our projects are chosen specifically to help empower the future of learning for Teach For America. We believe that no work should be wasted, so when a project is completed, instead of it ending, we compost it. Just like at your local community garden, we take make sure to take all parts that can be reused in a new project and apply those learning there.
All of the offerings we are developing at different altitudes sit at the intersection of AI dexterity and reinvention. In order to deliver on the promise of the TFA 2030 goal, we must create responsible, exciting, and valuable opportunities for TFA staff, educators and students within partner schools to be equipped to use AI early and often, in a world where achieving “economic mobility” will be vastly different than it was even two years ago.
The AI Teacher Toolkit is AI 101 for teachers. This 90-minute, virtual course starts you with a conversation about AI in our every day lives and ends with you creating your own tool with Playlab AI.
AI for Reinvention is an AI course that walks an educator through using AI to rethink the ways we teach, learn, assess, plan and more!
Hackathons These are 90-minute, engaging experiences designed for anyone, regardless of technical expertise, to create their own AI tools tailored to their personal use case.
AI Poetry Slam This is a 1-hour, interactive conversation about how we can responsibly leverage AI for creativity and the arts. We anchor in writing poems with and without AI assistance and end with a rich discussion about what it means to be human in a world that is running so fast towards AI.
